THE MOVIE
The original idea behind this production comes from a previous, unpublished film entitled "The Second Coming" which discusses the cloning of Jesus Christ from DNA obtained from the Holy Shroud. This film was based upon an extensive knowledge of genetics which the producers acquired through personal studies of scientific documentation. It never gained widespread popularity, perhaps because its subject matter was disconcerting.
In an effort to bring the discoveries made to light, he decided to make a second film. Entitled "Silence That Kills", this film consolidates his findings, and brings to light many facts which would otherwise have remained hidden. The research for both of these films generated a significant trove of information which became the guiding force for the production.
The idea of creating a film which informs the public is both an interesting and a valuable one. The film answers many questions which have been asked of medicine and science in general, such as:
How much does the public know about the progress made by scientific research institutions?
What means does the public have to benefit from such progress when they are in serious need of medical care?
Have all possible efforts truly been made, or has the doctor merely followed standard procedures?
How much does the doctor know about the most recent advances?
Many of us are seldom satisfied with the attempts made by the members of the medical profession to save the lives of friends and family. The questions above only give voice to a few of the legitimate doubts that arise in each one of us. "Silence That Kills" seeks to answer many of these questions, and to take the argument one step further.
Research in the field of genetics is bringing hope to many sufferers of "incurable" diseases such as cancer. New therapies are being discovered daily, and many have proven to be quite effective. Many more are in the testing stages, and will become public soon. It is therefore essential to inform the public of these results and of the hospitals and doctors willing to apply the treatments proposed by them
